The Starbucks Rewards Reserve Card was designed to recognize and celebrate the brand’s most loyal customers with an experience that felt premium and befit to the top tier rewards status. The design approach was intentionally minimal and restrained, focusing on the details and using a metal substrate to create weight to the card, signaling a sense of accomplishment to the beholder.

I led the design of the card and mailed packaging, working closely with our Rewards program internal team. The final result turns a loyalty touchpoint into something that reflects the premium side of our rewards tiers, and celebrates the customer with custom printing their names on a one-of-a-kind card, sent right to their door.
